tujhko dekhe ek zamana ho gaya

nazar dekhte hain jigar dekhte hain

kabhi dastan-e-hasti ye tamam tak na pahunche

laga ke dil kabhi aansu bhi hum baha na sake

zindagi ek dard-o-gham ka saz hai

mil gai dard ki dawa dil ko

bahaar aai hai aalam mein ajab wahshat ka saman hai

nahin mujhko hasrat ma-siwa pas ab uski yaad se kaam hai

hujum-e-gham-e-jawedan ho raha hai
