Illustration Artist cum Animator

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Illustration Artist cum Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Indian culture, language, and history, and be able to produce visually compelling illustrations and animations that bring our content to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-quality illustrations and 2D animations for various project and purposes.
• Work collaboratively with the content team to conceptualize and develop visual concepts.
• Create storyboards, animatics, and rough drafts to visualize the animations.
• Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and visual effects for 2D animations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of the visual style and messaging.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and quality.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in illustration and 2D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate.
• Experience in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or Harmony.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and take direction and feedback well.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
