Media and Public Relations

JOB DESCRIPTION

Rekhta is looking for a dynamic PR and MR professional who will drive Rekhta’s Public and Media Relations and work in tandem with the foundation’s goal of preservation and propagation of languages and culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and Implementing Public Relations & Media Relations strategy for successful media visibility/outreach
• Drive media coverage for the Brand and its various projects/initiatives
• Building positive relationships with media and related stakeholders
• Preparing press releases and promotional materials to update the media about new milestones/achievements/events
• Develop and maintain ready reckoners of projects/products to be shared with the media
• Develop and maintain PAN India media lists
• Media mapping and tracking
• Prepare coverage dossiers and analysis
• Ideate and develop story pegs, messaging for the media universe
• Effective delivery of given Media/PR targets

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 10 years of work experience in PR agency/ies

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Good understanding of the media universe
• Inclination towards Arts & Culture (Urdu will be an additional advantage)
