جو بہت بے رخی سے ملتا ہے
جو بہت بے رخی سے ملتا ہے
کیا کریں دل اسی سے ملتا ہے
صرف مطلب کے واسطے اب تو
آدمی آدمی سے ملتا ہے
وہ لکھا ہے کہاں کتابوں میں
جو سبق زندگی سے ملتا ہے
مرتبہ آج بھی زمانے میں
پیار سے عاجزی سے ملتا ہے
اس کا درماں نہیں کوئی عادلؔ
درد جو دوستی سے ملتا ہے
