apne ghar ko wapas jao ro ro kar samjhata hai
apne ghar ko vāpas jaao ro ro kar samjhātā hai
jahāñ bhī jā.ūñ merā saaya pīchhe pīchhe aatā hai
us ko bhī to jā kar dekho us kā haal bhī mujh sā hai
chup chup rah kar dukh sahne se to insāñ mar jaatā hai
mujh se mohabbat bhī hai us ko lekin ye dastūr hai us kā
ġhair se miltā hai hañs hañs kar mujh se hī sharmātā hai
kitne yaar haiñ phir bhī 'munīr' is ābādī meñ akelā hai
apne hī ġham ke nashshe se apnā jī bahlātā hai
apne ghar ko wapas jao ro ro kar samjhata hai
