عید کب ہوگی
سنا تھا چاند نکلے گا
سنا تھا عید آئے گی
سنا تھا ایک رونق کوچہ و بازار میں ہوگی
سنا تھا تم بھی آؤ گے
سنا ہے چاند نکلا تھا
سنا ہے رونقیں تھیں کوچہ و بازار میں ہر سو
سنا ہے عید کی خوشیاں منائیں شہر میں سب نے
یہ سب کچھ تو ہوا لیکن
بس اک تم ہی نہیں آئے
بتاؤ کیوں نہیں آئے
بتاؤ دید کب ہوگی
ہماری عید کب ہوگی
