hamari yaad unhen aa gai to kya hoga

rasta sunsan tha to muD ke dekha kyun nahin

har-su dhuen ka raqs hai aaj apne ganw mein

yaadon ka lams zehn ko chhu kar guzar gaya

jagmagati KHwahishon ka nur phaila raat bhar

ajib shaKHs hai mujhko to wo diwana lage

waqt ka kuchh ruka sa dhaara hai

har su hai tariki chhai tum bhi chup aur hum bhi chup

bas ek bar use raushni mein dekha tha

koi diwar salamat hai na ab chhat meri

kahin pe qurb ki lazzat ka iqtibas nahin

kisht-e-dil viran sahi tuKHm-e-hawas boya nahin

uDte lamhon ke bhanwar mein koi phansta hi nahin

aankhon se maine chakh liya mausam ke zahr ko

wo kya hai kaun hai ye to zara bata mujhko

abr har khet pe har rahguzar par barse

karb ki aag mein din-raat pighalte rahiye

jagmagati KHwahishon ne mujhko andha kar diya
