सुकून-ए-दिल गया नज़रों से सब क़तारे गए

ख़्वाहिश-ओ-ख़ाब के आगे भी कहीं जाना है

दस्तक हवा की सुन के कभी डर नहीं गया

इश्क़ में हो के मुब्तिला दिल ने कमाल कर दिया

फ़ित्ना उठा तो रज़्म-गह-ए-ख़ाक से उठा

ऐसा इलाज-ए-हब्स-ए-दिल-ए-ज़ार चाहिए

कौन वाँ जुब्बा-ओ-दस्तार में आ सकता है

इसी लिए तो हार का हुआ नहीं मलाल तक

ज़मीं की ख़ाक तो अफ़्लाक से ज़ियादा है

किसे ख़बर कि है क्या क्या ये जान थामे हुए

मैं तो सोया भी न था क्यूँ ये दर-ए-ख़्वाब गिरा

ऐसी भी कहाँ बे-सर-ओ-सामानी हुई है

अब सोचिए तो दाम-ए-तमन्ना में आ गए

क़र्या-ए-इंतिज़ार में उम्र गँवा के आए हैं
