baDi dil-shikan hai rah-e-safar koi ham-safar hai na yar hai

raaz hai ibrat-asar fitrat ki har tahrir ka

raunaq farogh-e-dard se kuchh anjuman mein hai

haq pasandon se jahan bar-sar-e-paikar sahi

jigar-gudaz maani samajh sako to kahun

baKHt kya jaane bhala ya ki bura hota hai

gham-e-afaq mein aarif agar karwaT badalta hai

fasl-e-bahaar jaane ye kya gul katar gai

sarir-e-KHama se tashrih-e-sirr-e-zi hogi
