aisa banna sanwarna mubarak tumhein kam se kam itna kahna hamara karo

duniya-e-tasawwur hum aabaad nahin karte

saqiya tu ne mere zarf ko samjha kya hai

koi samjhega kya raaz-e-gulshan

jhuTi hi tasalli ho kuchh dil to bahal jae

gham har ek aankh ko chhalkae zaruri to nahin

Dubne wale ki mayyat par lakhon rone wale hain

ahl-e-dair-o-haram rah gae

dil se agar kabhi tera arman jaega

tu phul ki manind na shabnam ki tarah aa

ai husn zamane ke tewar bhi to samjha kar

hum aagahi-e-ishq ka afsana kahenge

chehra-e-subh nazar aaya ruKH-e-sham ke baad

wo KHanuman-KHarab na kyun dar-ba-dar phire

wo jaane kitna sar-e-bazm sharmsar hua

yun teri talash mein tere KHasta-jaan chale
