uske kuche mein gaya main so phir aaya na gaya

 

mukhDa wo but jidhar karega

 

mera uske pas-e-diwar ghar hota to kya hota

 

maine har-chand ki us kuche mein jaana chhoDa

 

shama-ru aashiq ko apne yun jalana chahiye

 

us shoala-ru se jab se meri aankh ja lagi

 

mujhse aazurda jo us gul-ru ko ab pate hain log
