Thahri Thahri si tabiat mein rawani aai

pyas dariya ki nigahon se chhupa rakkhi hai

wo bhi kuchh bhula hua tha main kuchh bhaTka hua

silsila KHatm hua jalne jalane wala

kabhi kasak judai ki kabhi mahak visal ki

kitne bhule hue naghmat sunane aae

dayar-e-dil mein naya naya sa charagh koi jala raha hai

tamashai bane rahiye tamasha dekhte rahiye

ye nahin pahle teri yaad se nisbat kam thi

bhigi bhigi palkon par ye jo ek sitara hai

rasta bhul gaya ek sitara apna

KHuda ne laj rakhi meri be-nawai ki

pyas ke bedar hone ka koi rasta na tha

tumhaari KHushbu thi ham-safar to hamara lahja hi dusra tha

raat ka pichhla pahar kaisi nishani de gaya

badan mein awwalin ehsas hai takanon ka
