kisi ke KHwab ko ehsas se bandha hua hai

sahra sagar sab pani

safar rasta saubat KHwab sahra

dhuan shorish rawani be-yaqini

saba ki KHak-nawardi subu ki virani

bala ki pyas thi hadd-e-nazar mein pani tha

rawan hai mauj-e-fana jism o jaan utar mujhe

imkan se bahar kabhi aasar se aage

wurud-e-jism tha jaan ka azab hone laga

hai mol-bhao mein bazar mein hai sath mere

dasht hai kaun-o-makan aur la-makan

waqt kam fasla ziyaada hai

ek aalam hai jahan be-sar-o-samani hai

bahut sa ho chuka hai aur kuchh nahin hua hai

koi mehrab se aage aage
