wafa ka banda hun ulfat ka pasdar hun main

hote hi jawan ho gae paband-e-hijab aur

mohabbat mein jina nai baat hai

mile ghairon se mujhko ranj o gham yun bhi hai aur yun bhi

hamein kahti hai duniya zaKHm-e-dil zaKHm-e-jigar wale

haq-o-nahaq jalana ho kisi ko to jala dena

KHizan ka jo gulshan se paD jae pala

amanat mohtasib ke ghar sharab-e-arghawan rakh di

uDa sakta nahin koi mere andaz-e-shewan ko

suna bhi kabhi majra dard-o-gham ka kisi dil-jale ki zabani kaho to
