teri zulfen hain ki sawan ki ghaTa chhai hai
tirī zulfeñ haiñ ki sāvan kī ghaTā chhā.ī hai
tere aariz haiñ ki phūloñ ko hañsī aa.ī hai
ye tirā jism hai yā sub.h kī shahzādī hai
zulmat-e-shab se ulajhtī huī añgḌā.ī hai
teri zulfen hain ki sawan ki ghaTa chhai hai
tere aariz hain ki phulon ko hansi aai hai
ye tera jism hai ya subh ki shahzadi hai
zulmat-e-shab se ulajhti hui angDai hai
