DhunD kar laen kahan se wo masiha chehre
dil ḳhush huā hai masjid-e-vīrāñ ko dekh kar
merī tarah ḳhudā kā bhī ḳhāna ḳharāb hai
seeing the mosque deserted was to me a source of glee
his house too was desolate, just the same as me
dil KHush hua hai masjid-e-viran ko dekh kar
meri tarah KHuda ka bhi KHana KHarab hai
ai mohabbat tire anjām pe ronā aayā
jaane kyuuñ aaj tire naam pe ronā aayā
