فصل بہار آئی پیو صوفیو شراب
بس ہو چکی نماز مصلیٰ اٹھائیے
مرا ضمیر بہت ہے مجھے سزا کے لیے
تو دوست ہے تو نصیحت نہ کر خدا کے لیے
کون سی جا ہے جہاں جلوۂ معشوق نہیں
شوق دیدار اگر ہے تو نظر پیدا کر
where in this world does ones beloved's beauty not reside
if the zeal for sight you have, the vision too provide
اتنی پی جائے کہ مٹ جائے میں اور تو کی تمیز
یعنی یہ ہوش کی دیوار گرا دی جائے
